We recently conducted our first event inside the theater! With the new facade and help from the city on interior code compliance, the theater is now ready for a limited number of events. We kicked it off with our Dinner and the Theater fundraiser. Various supporters held dinner parties at their homes on Saturday night, February 27. Guests donated what they would spend on a night out. At 9:00 pm everyone met at the theater for dessert and coffee.
Thanks to our dinner hosts, Bonnie Gaster, Cindy Meyer, Pam Lappin & Janet Rutledge. Also a big thank you to Monty Parks, All Points Cafe, brought his Cappuccino machine to the theater and served up delicious coffees. Many thanks as well to Stephen & Jennifer Palmer at Tybee Island Wedding who donated decorations. Each received a limited edition print of the Tybee Post Theater that local artist Marianne Seyden painted in 1999.

It was wonderful to have activity in the building and it was beautiful with the decorations, party lights and candles.
As you can some some guests "dressed up" for the occasion. Thanks to Jane Bridges and her committee for this wonderful event which raised over $2,300!
A dream come true - Lights on in the Theater!
